B. ALLOCATION PROPOSAL
GENERAL FUND ALLOCATIONS ARE TENTATIVE. THE AMOUNTS ALLOCATED MAY BE REDUCED BY EXECUTIVE RESTRICTIONS AND/OR INTERNAL REDUCTIONS.
SCHOOL TO WORK TRANSITION CENTERS, 15112
1. Purpose
To assist students in making realistic career and employment decisions. The Transition Centers accomplish this by empowering youth with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to successfully make the transition from adolescence to adulthood.
2. Rationale for Allocation
A total of $70,174 in "B" funds is being allocated to schools with active School to Work Transition Centers to support activities that assist students to transition from high school into post-secondary education/training or employment.
3. Guidelines for Implementation
a) Funds allocated to the schools are to be used to help students transition from high school into post-secondary education/training or employment. Funds may be used for ground transportation, educational supplies, instructional materials, and equipment.
b) Funds are to be expended in accordance with the guidelines found in the "FMS User Policy and Process Flow Guide," personnel rules and regulations, and procurement law.
