B. ALLOCATION PROPOSAL
GENERAL FUND ALLOCATIONS ARE TENTATIVE. THE AMOUNTS ALLOCATED MAY BE REDUCED BY EXECUTIVE RESTRICTIONS AND/OR INTERNAL REDUCTIONS.
HCPS-STANDARDS RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT, 12667
1. Purpose
A) To support the continued development of the Teleschool Distance Learning Technology program,
B) to support the development of Instructional Television programming,
C) to support the broadcast and transmission of video programming,
D) to support the statewide duplication services, and
E) to support the state video conference system and related activities.
2. Rationale for Allocation
Funds are allocated to support Teleschool's Instructional Television programming and production activities, distance learning technology, video conference system and related activities. All programming is being developed to support the Hawaii Content and Performance Standards and to support the No Child Left Behind federal legislation.
3. Guidelines for Implementation
Funds are to be expended in accordance with the guidelines found in the "FMS User Policy and Process Flow Guide," personnel rules and regulations, and procurement law.
4. Allocation of Resources
$30,000 is being transferred from "A1" to "B" funds to the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Student Support (OCISS) - Teleschool Branch, ORG. ID. 530000.
