B. ALLOCATION PROPOSAL
GENERAL FUND ALLOCATIONS ARE TENTATIVE. THE AMOUNTS ALLOCATED MAY BE REDUCED BY EXECUTIVE RESTRICTIONS AND/OR INTERNAL REDUCTIONS.
KOKEE DISCOVERY CENTER, 12659
1. Purpose
To provide outdoor education camp experiences to learn more about the terrestrial environment.
2. Rationale for Allocation
The Kokee Discovery Center, built and established in 1994, is a fifth grade environmental residential camp serving all public elementary schools in the Kauai District. Students learn about the native forest ecosystem, survival techniques, character education, collaboration and community activities.
3. Guidelines for Implementation
The Kauai District Office administers the residential camp.
Salaries and positions are allocated to Kalaheo Elementary School for the Kokee Discovery Center.
Funds are to be expended in accordance with the guidelines found in the "FMS User Policy & Process Flow Guide," personnel rules and regulations, and procurement law.
4. Allocation of Resources
The following positions are allocated to Kalaheo Elementary School, ORG. ID. 453000:
