B. ALLOCATION PROPOSAL
GENERAL FUND ALLOCATIONS ARE TENTATIVE. THE AMOUNTS ALLOCATED MAY BE REDUCED BY EXECUTIVE RESTRICTIONS AND/OR INTERNAL REDUCTIONS.
FRP-SCHOOL BASED SERVICES, 15686
1. Purpose
To Provide for School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services, including those needing such services under Chapter 56 (IDEA) and Chapter 53 Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973) of the Departments' Administrative Rules. Funds are to be expended to bring the Department to assure the sustainability of the Felix Consent Decree.
2. Rationale for Allocation
This is an initial allocation of "B" Funds under 15686
The sum of $2,500,000 is allocated to the District Offices and the Hawaii Center for the Deaf and Blind (HCBD) as an "advance" initial allocation for contract expenses as specified to enable them to provide SBBH services to students.
3. Guidelines for Implementation
"B" funds are to be expended for contracted services provided to students for operating expenses incurred to support the provision of SBBH services and supports to students.
