AUXILIARY SERVICES-OAHU, 37932

1. Purpose
To maintain custodial standards and administer the Operations and Maintenance Program to provide auxiliary services to schools.

2. Rationale for Allocation
$100,000 is being allocated to the Operations and Maintenance Section (OMS), Office of Business Services to provide funds for planned program activities. These activities include tele-communication, gas and oil, internet access, and necessary supplies and equipment to provide Statewide power mower and utility services; repair and maintenance of power mower equipment, trucks, and trailers, and supplies and equipment to conduct utility services. Program activities also include inter-island coupons, per diem, and mileage for OMS personnel to provide supervision, repair services, and training for baseyards Statewide, and for neighbor island baseyard personnel to attend meetings and training on Oahu. Personal safety supplies and shoes for eligible Unit 1 and Unit 2 OMS personnel will also be provided from this allocation.

3. Guidelines for Implementation
Funds are to be expended in accordance with the guidelines found in the "FMS User Policy & Process Flow Guide" and procurement law.
