AFTER SCH LENG CNTR-NAALEHU, 13019

1. Purpose
To plan and implement after school and summer school enrichment programs for youth in the Na'alehu Community, as well as for their parents, in a safe, drug free environment.

2. Rationale for Allocation
Na'alehu School and their community collaborators; University of Hawaii, 4-H Program and Family Support Services of West Hawaii, will provide academic and enrichment programs for youth and families in the Na'alehu community.

The funds of the grant will be allocated in "T" funds in the following manner:

$176,404 will be allocated to Na'alehu School for planned program activities; and

$3,784 will be allocated to the Office of Business Services (OBS), Accounting Section for indirect costs of 2.1%.

3. Guidelines for Implementation
Funds are to be expended in accordance with the guidelines found in "FMS User Policy & Process Flow Guide," personnel rules and regulations and procurement law.
