AFTER SCH LRNG CNTR-KING INTER, 13021

1. Purpose
To plan and implement centers that provide safe, drug-free, supervised and cost-effective after school, weekend or summer havens for children, youth, and their families.

2. Rationale for Allocation
$609,692 in "T" funds is allocated to the Kaneohe Community Learning Center schools to promote and provide educational, recreational, health, entrepreneurial and/or social service programs for the children and community of the King Intermediate, Heeia, Ahuimanu, Kahaluu, and Waiahole schools.

$75,134 in "T" funds is allocated to the OBS - Accounting Section for indirect costs associated with the project.

3. Guidelines for Implementation
Funds are to be expended in accordance with the guidelines found in the "FMS User Policy and Process Flow Guide," personnel rules and regulations, and procurement law.
