B. ALLOCATION PROPOSAL

RESOURCES FOR NEW FACILITIES-REG EDUC, 12642

1. Purpose
Funds are provided to equip new regular education classrooms.

2. Rationale for Allocation
This allocation for temporary classrooms for the 2002-03 school year to meet enrollment growth, capacity deficits and/or educational program needs. Funds are allocated on the basis of approximately $12,088 per temporary classroom.

3. Guidelines for Implementation
The DOE "Educational Specifications and Standards for Facilities: Program Equipment List" should be used as a guide in expending these funds.

Funds are to be expended in accordance with the guidelines found in the "FMS User Policy and Process Flow Guide," personnel rules and procurement law.
