B. ALLOCATION PROPOSAL
SCHOOL CUSTODIAL SERVICES, 37297
1. Purpose
To maintain school buildings and grounds in a sanitary, safe, healthy, and attractive condition, thereby providing the best environment to facilitate the learning process.
2. Rationale for Allocation
$205,645 is allocated to Office of Business Services, Operations and Maintenance Section to pay for Kauai District's school refuse collection contract with Garden Isle Refuse.
$18,000 is allocated to Office of Business Services, Operations and Maintenance Section to pay for fuel charges for the Section's fleet of trucks and mowing equipment.
$26,355 is allocated to Office of Business Services, Operations and Maintenance Section to pay for parts and repairs required by the Section's fleet of trucks and mowing equipment, and custodial equipment parts, repairs, and miscellaneous supplies.
3. Guidelines for Implementation
Funds are to be expended in accordance with the guidelines found in the "FMS User Policy & Process Flow Guide" and procurement law.
